Area Sales Manager - Southern Region

We are seeking a talented Sales Professional with a background in Engineering to join our team at Oliver Valves. As a global market-leader in precision-quality solutions for the O&G, petrochemical, and renewable energy industries, we focus on recruiting people with the right attitude, flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will oversee our key accounts in the Southern Region of the UK, with some international coverage. You will be responsible for presenting our products and capabilities, managing existing key accounts, and selling to instrumentation and piping engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presentation of Group companies' products and capabilities
  • Account management of existing key accounts within the territory
  • Selling to instrumentation and piping engineers
  • Responsible for feedback to Group companies with respect to existing product range and future product developments
  • Identify competitive postures and work with direct management to combat these on a local basis
  • Ensure a customer-focused approach, both personally and from all team members in all businesses

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Mechanical engineering background
  • Currently in a technical sales engineering role with a sales track record
  • Hands-on commercial experience gained in an engineering/technical sales role
  • Clear and concise communicator, capable of identifying new objectives
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker
