We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Support Professional to join our team at SENDhelp Limited in Ealing. As a Complex Needs Education Assistant, you will provide tailored support for children with complex and diverse needs.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with pupils requiring help with communication, mobility, and personal care, fostering their development and independence.
  • Your experience working with children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Autism will be invaluable.

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SLD, PMLD, and Autism.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting and feeding, in a manner that respects pupils' dignity.
  • Support the development of pupils' communication and independence skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to deliver holistic support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant in an SEN setting.
  • Practical experience working with children with PMLD, SLD, and Autism.
  • A compassionate, proactive, and flexible approach to meeting individual pupil needs.
  • Team Teach training (desirable but not essential).
  • A commitment to promoting inclusivity, supporting diversity, and fostering the cultural richness of the Ealing community.
