About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team at the Department for Work and Pensions. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of product managers to drive the development of digital products and services that meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of product managers to develop and implement product strategies that align with the department's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver digital products and services that meet user needs and business objectives.
  • Make key decisions about product development, including prioritization, resource allocation, and technical direction.
  • Communicate product success to stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
  • Coach and develop less experienced product managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in product management, with a strong track record of delivering successful products and services.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions about product development.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of digital product development, including agile methodologies and technical architecture.
