We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our client based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading construction projects from feasibility studies to field construction.


Project Overview

The client is a leading engineering and technology company for the energy industry and chemicals sector, involved in new energy projects as hydrogen. The successful candidate will work closely with the construction team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead construction projects from feasibility studies to field construction.
  • Provide constructability input for feasibility studies, FEED's, detailed design, and field construction.
  • Organise, chair, and run constructability workshops and programs resulting in the writing of final constructability reports.
  • Produce construction execution plans.
  • Prepare construction sequences in support of construction schedule development.
  • Provide ad-hoc technical assistance to construction sites.
  • Attend site surveys and provide construction input into site survey reports.
  • Assist in prequalification of subcontractors, including visits to current work sites and fabrication shops, regional surveys of industrial capability and infrastructure.
  • Assist in estimating construction costs, both direct and indirect.


Requirements

  • Experience in chemical, power, nuclear, or petrochemical projects.
  • Must have experience in construction projects.
  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering or construction subject.
