Key Responsibilities:- Project planning and monitoring
- Management of project risks and dependencies
- Assisting business Operational workstream leaders to construct and monitor plans
- Own and manage project budgets
- Act as a cross Operational workstream contact
- Construct presentations and status reports
- Present solutions to external parties
- Manage external partners and suppliers
- Construct full business cases
- Define project scopes and deliverables
- Design and construct business operating models
- Proven track record as a project manager role within financial services
- Minimum of 10 years in project management
- Proven track record working as a lead project Manager on ESG initiatives
- Experience in Asset Management and/or Capital Markets
- Proven track record working as a Senior Project Manager on wide variety of Regulatory Initiatives such as LiBOR, SFDR etc.
- Management of external partners and suppliers
- Ability to create and define operating models
- Exposure to a wide spectrum of financial products including ETD, OTC, FI, Equity and their associated market practice / processes
- Understanding and demonstrable knowledge of a buy side asset manager
- Strong planning, co-ordination and organisational skills
- Change management skills
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation
- Excellent at building and maintaining relationships
- Cost control skills and commercial acumen
- Ability to review and interpret legislation and effectively communicate how it will impact teams within the organisation
- Demonstrate delivery of successful projects within buy/sell side institutions
