Sphere Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. This role requires a strong background in quantity surveying, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Management: Implement safety management procedures on site and address any concerns with the safety team and/or directors.
  • Drawings and Works: Offer expert advice on drawings and works to ensure project information is current and up-to-date.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analyses to inform project decisions.
  • Procurement Function: Develop expertise in procurement functions and their impact on project costs.
  • Sub-Contractors: Effectively manage relationships with sub-contractors and allocate work accordingly.
  • Construction Contracts: Have a comprehensive understanding of various construction contracts.
  • Training and Development: Contribute to the training and development of junior quantity surveyors.
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience working with sub-contractors in residential groundworks.
  • Computer Skills: Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
