Procurement Strategist

Triumph Consultants Limited is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to oversee procurement activities for housing services in local government. This exciting opportunity offers an estimated salary of £30 per hour, equivalent to approximately £108,600 per annum based on 36.25 hours worked per week.

This role requires the ability to advise on all aspects of the procurement process, from options appraisal to contract management, with a strong focus on achieving value for money and cashable savings from procurement activity. The ideal candidate will possess detailed knowledge of public service and local government procurement, as well as expertise in advising on procurement processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing reports and analysing data for senior managers and the Procurement Corporate Action Team. Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to build partnerships and foster productive working relationships.

In order to be considered for this position, candidates should have relevant MCIPS qualifications and a strong track record of managing the procurement of goods, services, and works to support housing services in a local government environment. Experience managing procurement for housing services in local government is also highly desirable.
