**About the Role**

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef Director to lead our culinary team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer in the UK. As a seasoned professional with a background in exceptional food catering services, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Chef Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment, with excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills. You will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service, possess bags of enthusiasm, and be able to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the back of house team to develop well-balanced and nutritious menus.
  • Prepare and manage the catering budget to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.
  • Establish strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate catering staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage, train, and support a team.
  • Familiarity with financial management, including creating and maintaining budgets and driving commercial performance.
  • Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment.
  • Meticulous organisational abilities and a high attention to detail.
