About This Role

The Proactive Sales Executive role is a key position within our branch, responsible for driving sales and operations to ensure the smooth running of our sales and trade counter functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit proactive sales from new and existing customers
  • Support the external sales team with customer requests, including technical information, updated quotes, and product certification
  • Place direct sales orders, organize delivery times, and notify customers
  • Follow up on general phone enquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Identify and generate sales opportunities for our full range of products
  • Ensure minimum stock shrinkage and accurate daily stock counts
  • Complete transport audits and dispatch documentation as necessary
Requirements
  • A proven track record of sales/business development with a good understanding of product knowledge and routes to market
  • Strong IT skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Natural passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience
  • Confident working under pressure and ability to manage and prioritize own diary and workload
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet ever-changing requests and demands
  • Good problem-solving ability and prior experience of using a CRM system
