We are seeking a skilled Optical Assistant to join our team at Health Care Personnel. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our optometrists in delivering high-quality eye care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and provide a warm welcome to our practice
  • Assist customers in selecting the correct frames for their lenses
  • Measure frames to ensure a perfect fit
  • Order prescription glasses and contact lenses for customers
  • Make follow-up appointments for customers
  • Make adjustments to frames when customers collect their glasses
  • Carry out pre-screening tests, such as retinal imaging and pressure and visual field testing
  • Explain offers and products to customers
  • Take payments from customers
Requirements
  • Must have experience working in an optician's practice
  • Good understanding of English and Maths
  • Basic IT skills required
  • Relevant experience in customer service or retail role an advantage
