About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist and Hearing Aid Specialist to join our team at a long-standing family-run hearing and eye care company. The company has a strong focus on customer care and excellent eyecare service, with a presence in 169 stores across England.

The role involves providing exceptional patient hearing and optical care, with the opportunity to work with a large database of existing optical and hearing customers. As a Hearing Care Professional and Optical Services Manager, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations, determining the extent and nature of hearing loss, and recommending and fitting appropriate hearing aids and assistive listening devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough hearing assessments and evaluations to determine the extent and nature of hearing loss.
  • Determining the best course of action for patients, including recommending and fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
  • Providing counseling and education to patients on the proper use and care of hearing aids.
  • Monitoring patients' progress and making adjustments or modifications to hearing aids as needed.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with hearing disorders.
