Job Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, including advising clients on legal implications.">
  • Handling remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build purchases from start to finish.">
  • Conducting property searches and liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties.">
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documents, and other legal documentation.">
  • Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and other legal requirements.">
  • Managing complex property issues such as lease extensions, shared ownership, and adverse possession.">
  • Advising clients on legal rights and obligations and offering expert guidance through the conveyancing process.">
  • Maintaining accurate case records and managing client expectations through regular communication.">
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and referrals.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A qualifying solicitor with experience in residential property law.">
  • A strong understanding of the conveyancing process, including relevant legislation and regulations.">
  • Excellent client care skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.">
  • A proven track record of managing residential property transactions independently.">
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.">
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.">
  • Experience using conveyancing case management systems is advantageous.">
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
