Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Adnams Plc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the effective management, motivation, and development of all Kitchen employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and implementing seasonal menu changes
  • Manage food purchasing and stock rotation on a daily basis
  • Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence and ensure the day is planned and organised for the rest of the team
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to specification and served at the correct quality, portion size, and temperature
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and hygiene
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar busy kitchen environment
  • Excellent culinary and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Flexibility to cover a variety of shifts per week, including bank holidays and weekends
