Accounts Assistant Job Description
The Recruitment Co is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their team in the Blackpool area. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, processing invoices and expenses, and reconciling bank statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including limited company accounts and self-assessments.
- Process invoices and expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in financial services tasks, including bookkeeping and data entry.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good organisation skills and ability to work within a team.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- AAT Level 2 or above (desirable).
- Bookkeeping skills (desirable).
