The role of the Land Buyer reports to the Head of Land and is responsible for acquiring land in accordance with Bellway's buying procedures. This involves coordinating divisional departments, external consultants, and lawyers to contract on sites. Other responsibilities include affordable housing and bulk disposals, commercial leasing or disposals, and running scheme viabilities in line with the planning department.

The successful candidate will have experience in land acquisition, property development, or a related role, preferably within the residential sector. They will have a strong understanding of the property market in East London, South Essex, and North Kent, as well as familiarity with local planning policies and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Land Management, Urban Planning, or a related field. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
