Job Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead an established 3-bed EBD children's home in a residential setting.

About the Role: As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the home runs smoothly, delivering exceptional care, and supporting the young people in achieving positive outcomes. You will lead a committed team in delivering high-quality care and work collaboratively with a hands-on leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team to ensure the highest standards of care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
  • Ensure compliance with all Ofsted regulations, focusing on delivering positive outcomes for the young people
  • Develop and maintain effective care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with external professionals such as social services, healthcare providers, and specialist agencies
  • Manage occupancy levels and financial performance to ensure the sustainability of the home
  • Be a positive role model and create a nurturing environment for both the staff and young people

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and experience in delivering high-quality care within a children's residential setting. You will also need to be resilient, compassionate, and confident in leading a team to provide exceptional outcomes for the young people in your care. Key qualifications and experience required include a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it), QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, and proven experience in a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager role within a children's residential home.
