Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our imaging team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing patient-centered care and meeting the needs of patients, consultants, and colleagues.
  • Deliver a high standard of care in accordance with CHG policies and procedures.
  • Conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/Imaging Assistants standard framework, understanding the standards in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Assist patients throughout their time within the department and preparing patients prior to their imaging.
  • Assist Radiographers in maintaining an efficient daily work list, workflow of patients.
  • Assist Radiologists in carrying out radiological examinations.
  • Deal with patient queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems.
  • Assist the Admin team with charging.
  • Be responsible for stock maintenance and ordering.
  • Assist in regular audits.
Requirements
  • Care Certificate.
  • NVQ Level 1 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
  • Willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
  • Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
  • Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
