About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at CV-Library. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the workshop team to ensure quality work, compliance, and time management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and inspire the team to deliver high-quality work and meet production targets.
  2. Maintain production processes in line with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  3. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and quality control measures.
  4. Read engineering drawings and work from own initiative to complete fabrication tasks.
  5. Experience in drilling, jigged, and un-jigged assembly to drawings and using power tools safely.
  6. Preferred experience in MIG/TIG welding fabricated parts in accordance with engineering drawings.
  7. Installation of insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies.
  8. Basic wiring knowledge of lights and fixtures on commercial vehicles.
  9. Carry out fabrication work as required, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  10. Ensure good housekeeping in all work areas, including workshops and vehicles.
  11. Carry out other reasonable projects, tasks, or duties to support the business as directed by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in fabrication, vehicle body assembly, and MIG/TIG welding.
  • Excellent understanding of the manufacturing process.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality work.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
