Hygiene Supervisor

Job Purpose: As a Hygiene Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing hygiene standards to meet all food safety and legal requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting who is committed to upholding top hygiene, safety, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health, Safety & Hygiene: Act as a role model for safety and hygiene. Immediately report and address incidents, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Team Leadership: Assign, prioritize, and oversee work to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met.
- Operational KPIs: Drive and monitor KPIs with the Production and Maintenance Manager, leading team meetings to review performance and foster continuous improvement.
- Equipment Knowledge: Operate and coordinate various production machines (metal detection, labellers, case sealers, etc.) to meet production goals.
- Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Uphold compliance within QMS standards and lead improvement projects targeting cost savings.
- Team Development: Coach and mentor team members, fostering a flexible workforce and identifying training needs.
- Collaboration: Coordinate activities with other departments like Hygiene and Quality Assurance.
