Autism Support Professional

About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Autism Support Assistant to join our team in a Primary School in Tower Hamlets. As an Educational Support Worker, you will work closely with qualified SEND professionals and Specialist Teachers to provide high-quality support to students with ASD and other SEN.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized support to students with autism, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their academic potential.
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement sensory and behavioral strategies to support students with autism.
- Encouraging social and emotional development in students, promoting independence and confidence.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A first-class or 2:1 Psychology degree from a top UK university.
- Experience working with children with SEN, preferably those with autism.
- A willingness to undertake in-house and external training to further develop your skills.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £420-£520 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
