We are currently seeking a talented Mechanical Technician to join our team at the Cardiff Office, specializing in heavy goods vehicles.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs and LCVs, ensuring they are safe and operational. This is a key role within our team and provides a great opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine inspections and diagnostic tests on HGVs and LCVs.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on various vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components.
  • Assemble and fabricate parts as necessary to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads as required during repairs.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
  • Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently.

Salary: £42,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
