HGV Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at React Recruitment Ltd. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance, service, and repair of HGVs
  • Identifying and repairing mechanical or electrical issues

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical repairs, with a focus on commercial vehicles. A current full UK driving licence is required, as well as proficiency in diagnostic tools and repair equipment specific to HGVs.

Awareness of health and safety requirements and excellent problem-solving abilities are also essential. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, combined with good communication and customer service skills, will make you a valuable asset to our company.

Salary Estimate: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 24 days annual leave per year + duvet day, carry over up to 5 days annual leave per year, Life Assurance, Company Pensions contribution of up to 5%, Private Medical Insurance, attractive overtime rates of up to 130%, Bonus, incentives and commission schemes, and Further Education Assistance.
