Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Occupational Therapist or Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health Autism Team. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy or mental health nursing assessments and interventions to autistic service users in inpatient mental health services or at increased risk of readmission.
Main Duties- Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions to autistic service users in inpatient mental health services or at increased risk of readmission.
- Work collaboratively with the Mental Health Autism Team to promote safe, effective, and therapeutic care for autistic adults in acute and community mental health services.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to support autistic service users in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.
- Contribute to the development of integrated care pathways and multidisciplinary joint working to support autistic service users.

Person Specification- Current registration with the relevant professional body (HCPC or NMC).
- BSc (Hons) or equivalent in Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing.
- Relevant post-qualification experience in Mental Health and/or Autism and/or Learning Disabilities.
