Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Radiotherapy Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic images and ensuring the well-being and care of patients during their radiotherapy treatment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of radiotherapy treatment, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Calculate and record radiotherapy treatments accurately, maintaining precise patient records and ensuring confidentiality of medical information.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and understanding during the imaging process, providing empathetic care and support.
  • Collaborate with the radiotherapy team to deliver high-quality diagnostic images, utilizing IT systems for image processing and storage.
Requirements
  • Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Understanding of the wider Radiotherapy agenda, including Radiotherapy specialised commissioning and service specifications.
