Job summary

Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Specialist Pharmacy Technician Clinical Trials role within our pharmacy department.

As a senior member of the team, you will lead on operations management of the clinical trials service, including organising workload and operating procedures.

We welcome diversity in our department and are supportive of flexible and part-time working.

Main duties of the job

Your responsibilities will include:

* Dispensing and accuracy checking prescriptions for clinical trials and compassionate use programs

* Maintaining and producing accurate documentation required for clinical trials

* Ensuring the smooth initiation, running, and close of clinical trials

* Implementing and revising pharmacy clinical trials procedures

* Providing training and supervision to student pharmacy technicians and registered technicians

* Deputising for clinical trial pharmacists when necessary

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will also line manage a small number of pharmacy technicians and provide leadership development opportunities.
