Job Summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced School Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our School Nursing Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to children and young people, promoting their health and well-being, and working closely with families and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake holistic health needs assessments of children and young people, interpreting and analysing complex information to inform and implement a plan of care.
  • Provide skilled, evidence-based nursing care, adhering to agreed policies and procedures, and supporting colleagues to improve practice.
  • Help others to identify their own level of knowledge and skill, offering support, information, and advice to enable them to access services and adopt healthy lifestyles.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive record keeping, in line with NMC guidance and Trust policy, and have knowledge of Information Sharing and Assessment protocols.
