Specialist in Advanced Wound Management

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Tissue Viability Team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of specialized wound care services, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. You will manage a clinical caseload, develop educational programs, and participate in audit activities. If you are a motivated and experienced nurse with a passion for wound care, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a clinical caseload of patients with tissue viability issues
- Develop and deliver educational programs for patients, staff, and families
- Participate in audit activities to ensure high standards of care
- Assist the lead TVN in achieving service objectives
- Develop, implement, and evaluate specialist services
Requirements:
- Registered Adult / Child Nurse on the NMC Register
- Evidence of post-registration CPD / Post registration qualification in appropriate area of specialty or professional knowledge supplemented by specialist experience and short courses to degree / masters level equivalent FHEQ Level 6 /7
- Recognised mentorship course
