Technical Project Manager Hydrogen Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager Hydrogen to join our team at GreenPower.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management of the design process for hydrogen production facilities (HPF) including preliminary in-house design, design of ancillary systems, and management of the tendering process.
You will also be responsible for the management of the delivery process for HPF projects, including addressing planning and preparatory activities, checking and finalization of the program of works, and ensuring supervision of all activities.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the design process for HPF including preliminary in-house design and design of ancillary systems.
- Management of the tendering process for HPF projects including establishment of tender specifications and administration of the tender process.
- Management of the delivery process for HPF projects including addressing planning and preparatory activities and ensuring supervision of all activities.
- Ensuring continued supervision during all construction activities including construction site organisation, civil works, mechanical installation, and ancillary works.
- Reporting on project progress through written status reports and presentations at project meetings.
Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant discipline such as renewables engineering or a related specialism.
- Understanding of the Hydrogen and industrial gases industry.
- Track record of the conceptual design and management of the delivery of HPF schemes with similar experience with regard to associated storage being an advantage.
- Understanding of how the environmental, technical, and commercial aspects of HPF projects interact.
- Understanding of project management processes including planning, budget control, and reporting.
- Understanding of the contractual process for tendering and project delivery and familiarity with at least one industry-standard form of contract.
- Understanding of the role of safety in project design and implementation and how the obligations of the CDM regulations can be met in practice.
- UK driving license.
