Business Development Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive growth into new and diverse markets.

About the Position:

The primary objective of this role is to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities, generating significant revenue and fostering strong relationships with new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify new business opportunities in diverse markets, trends, and customer segments.
  • Negotiate and finalise agreements with clients, closing new business deals.
  • Conduct sales forecasts, analyses, and present findings to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Marketing, to drive business objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of activities and report on performance metrics regularly.
Salary and Benefits:

This position comes with a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus benefits that include 25 days annual leave, a company car, and opportunities for professional development and career growth.

Requirements:
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building business from the ground up.
  • Proficient in IT tools, especially spreadsheets, for analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for relationship-building and client management.
  • Project management, organisational, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
