Job Opportunity: Deputy Manager for Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our team as a Deputy Manager for our Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) service. This role offers the chance to work closely with the Team Manager and a dedicated social work team, providing essential support to children in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Team Manager in leading the UASC service
  • Provide guidance and supervision to social work staff
  • Develop and implement effective support plans for children
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure comprehensive support
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker with experience in working with vulnerable children
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
