Job Description

This Data Protection and Compliance Specialist position requires an individual with expertise in data protection laws and regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring the council's adherence to GDPR, DPA 2018, FOIA, EIR, and other relevant statutes.

Key duties include:

  • Processing Freedom of Information and Data Protection requests
  • Coordinating Freedom of Information and Data Protection responses
  • Ensuring information security and confidentiality

You will work closely with the Senior Information Governance and Data Protection Officer to ensure seamless delivery of these services. This role offers a competitive salary of £30,060-£31,586 p.a. and comprehensive benefits package.
