About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our team at Extension Recruitment Ltd. As an IT Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ICT systems across two sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain all ICT systems, ensuring they are ready for use and operating correctly.
  • Lead the implementation of future ICT projects, working closely with the IT Director to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Set up and configure laptops, mobile devices, display equipment, and other specialist ICT equipment.
  • Record and manage technical incidents in accordance with our incident management procedure.

Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude towards work.
  • A strong technical understanding of Microsoft Office, Virtualised Environments, SharePoint, Windows Server, End Point Protection, Active Directory, and Networking Principles.
  • An enthusiasm for learning and improving your skills set.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
