An effective supply chain is vital to the UK's economy, directly impacting millions of people employed in making, selling, and moving goods. With Brexit and technological advancements driving changes in the way goods move across borders, logistics has never been more important.
Job SummaryThe role involves managing PCN accounts for Logistics UK members, acting as the primary contact for resolving issues and providing timely and professional support.
Responsibilities
- Manage PCN accounts in a timely and professional manner, being the main point of contact between Logistics UK and the member.
- Produce and send appeal letters to relevant authorities.
- Identify trends and 'hotspots' where PCNs have been issued and communicate this to the member.
- Liaise with the member and build good relationships to ensure effective issue resolution.
- Liaise with Local Authorities and private parking companies to resolve issues on behalf of the member.
- Carry out occasional member visits to deliver review meetings and discuss PCN trends.
- Produce regular reports as instructed from the member and provide the required reports needed to carry out review meetings with members.
- Use available tools like Google Maps to investigate PCNs and ensure all supporting information is uploaded onto the PCN database.
- Assist in uploading details of each PCN and supporting documentation to the relevant database and making credit card payments via Local Authorities websites.
- Learn and understand the whole PCN process to provide effective support to members.
- Work as part of a team and assist others within the department where necessary with the administration of the PCN Admin Service.
Requirements
- Excellent administrative skills, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use available tools effectively.
- Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build strong relationships with members.
- Show initiative and willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- Good attention to detail and thoroughness in all aspects of the role.
- A team player with the ability to work on own initiative and provide support to colleagues.
