Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions to students with SEN, ensuring they can fully engage with the curriculum and reach their potential.
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider school community to develop personalised strategies and support systems for each child.
  • Implement strategies learned from Team Teach training to manage challenging behaviors in a positive and effective way.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist in developing and delivering SEN-specific learning programs tailored to individual student needs.

Requirements:

  • Team Teach training and experience in managing challenging behaviors.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • A compassionate, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children's development.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with teachers and SEN staff.
