Assistant Psychologist

About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Adel Beck Secure Childrens Home. As part of our CAMHS service, you will work closely with our experienced and skilled practitioners to provide psychological assessment and interventions to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of formulations and work with children and their teams to implement interventions.
- Contribute to clinically related administration, audits, and research projects.
- Provide psychological assessment and interventions under the supervision of a HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist.

Person Specification
- Essential qualifications: Honours degree in Psychology (2:1) and entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Ability to interact effectively with staff from all disciplines and people with mental health problems or learning disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and accept supervision appropriately.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
Practical experience of working with people with mental health problems and/or learning disabilities.Experience of administering and scoring neuropsychological assessments.-
