Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing psychological assessment and interventions to children and young people in secure care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments and develop formulations to inform care planning
- Provide psychological interventions and support to children and young people
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to psychological care
- Participate in clinical audits and research projects to improve psychological care
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in psychology and experience working with children and young people. The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Psychology (2:1 or above)
- Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society
- Experience working with children and young people in secure care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
