Aspens Services Ltd is a leading contract catering company specializing in school food. We're looking for an HR Support Specialist to join our team and provide fantastic HR administration support to both the business and the HR Service Centre.
This is a key role in terms of managing all employee details and information regarding their employment. You will be responsible for the transactional processes covering the full employee life cycle, including processing new starters, checking returns of Right to Work, DBS and references for all new hires, salary changes and terminations.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide a first-class customer service to our employees and managers, triaging and escalating employment queries
- Support the HR Services Manager and wider HR team with HR projects where required
- Assist in the development and maintenance of administrative systems and procedures
- Maintain and administer the HRSC inbox
- Provide accurate and timely data/information to key stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience of working within a similar environment is desirable
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and be professional at all times
- Experience in customer service
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Be flexible, with a 'can-do' approach
