Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)

Salary: £28K-£30K per annum

Hours: 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends

About the Role:

The Resident Manager plays a vital role in ensuring an outstanding and effortless living experience for residents in our build-to-rent properties. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with colleagues to optimize neighbourhood occupancy and maintain properties to a high standard for viewing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer-Facing Representative: Act as the primary point of contact for all current and prospective residents, ensuring an exemplary experience from initial inquiry through move-in and during residency.
  • Neighbourhood Management: Innovate to elevate standards, exploring opportunities for improvement, and drive customer satisfaction across all platforms.
  • Occupancy and Revenue Targets: Achieve set targets for occupancy, revenue, and Net Promoter Scores.
  • Resident Contracting and Compliance: Manage resident contracting, ensuring compliance with standards and legislation.
  • Applicant Checks and Risk Management: Oversee applicant checks, screening, and commercial risk management.
  • Property Maintenance and Inspections: Conduct inspections to maintain property standards and report maintenance issues.
  • Move-Out Process: Manage the move-out process, including deposit release.
  • Resident Engagement: Participate in events and enhance resident experiences.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior letting/property management experience, with a strong customer service background.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident engagement with various stakeholders, proactive problem-solving attitude, adaptable, resilient, and able to manage pressure.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and industry-related systems like Yardi/RentCafe.
