About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Acute Inpatient Service at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adults experiencing acute mental health issues.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans in collaboration with the care team. You will work closely with service users, their families, and carers to provide individualized care and support.

Our Acute Care Service provides assessment and care in the least restrictive environment, minimizing disruption to service users, their families, and carers. We are committed to delivering high standards of care and are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who shares our values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nursing assessments of service users' personal needs using relevant skills and assessment tools.
  • Implement a range of clinical skills in assessing client risk.
  • Construct client care plans and risk management plans based on their assessed needs.
  • Perform nursing interventions advocated within the clients care plan.
  • Recognize the contribution of others in the provision of client care.
  • Involve clients and/or carers in the care planning and care delivery in a compassionate and appropriate manner.
  • Maintain the welfare and safety of clients and protect them from any form of abuse in accordance with safeguarding guidance.
  • Monitor the impact and effectiveness of nursing care delivered and revise care plans as appropriate.
  • Make and maintain accurate records of nursing care in accordance with Professional (NMC) guidance and Trust policy.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision.
