Job Title: Senior Acute Care Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Acute Care Nurse to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Acute Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing acute mental health episodes in Boston, Skegness, Spalding, and surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective assessment, treatment, and comprehensive discharge planning using highly developed clinical reasoning skills and appropriate assessment tools.
  • Ensure the clinical caseload and clinical practice are of the highest standard of clinical care.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely clinical records and risk assessments, and to coordinate and monitor those of the team.
  • Participate in Clinical Governance activities, including induction, supervision, personal development review, health and safety, risk management, and audit.
  • Provide management supervision to Band 5 and Band 3 staff.
  • Develop effective and supportive links with other health and social care staff to improve the pathway of care for clients referred to the Crisis Team.

Requirements:

  • RMN or RNLD or RN, S/W, O/T: 1st Level Registration (NMC) or degree or equivalent.
  • Current Registered Professional.
  • ENB998 / FliPS or equivalent.
  • Evidence of specialised continued professional training (degree level) in clinical practice.
  • Management training.
