Responsibilities

As a Physiotherapist in this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality physiotherapy assessments and interventions for patients across various departments, focusing on respiratory issues and other complex conditions.
  • Collaborating closely with Occupational Therapy staff to ensure safe and timely patient discharges, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Participating in weekend and emergency on-call rotas to provide round-the-clock support for patients requiring critical care services.

You'll also contribute to the development of our Physiotherapy Service by sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues, promoting continuous improvement within the department.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Strong clinical skills and experience in physiotherapy, particularly in managing complex caseloads and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work flexibly, adapting to changing priorities and situations while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
