We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team at SPT Labtech.

Key responsibilities will include:

Strategic Procurement Management:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Process Implementation and Improvement:

  • Design, implement, and optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize procurement activities across the organization.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of procurement processes and suppliers and implement improvements as needed to meet both operational and regulatory requirements.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilise data analytics to drive decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, trends, and performance metrics to senior management.

Financial Acumen:

  • Manage the procurement budget and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Analyse financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate financial risks.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to achieve the best value for the company.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior Buyers and Buyers.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to encourage a high-performing culture, providing regular feedback with a focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Ideally 5+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.

Experience in a life science or medical device manufacturing, or other regulated industry is highly desirable.
