We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our organization as a Disaster Recovery Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of our disaster recovery and business continuity plans, working closely with various teams to implement and test recovery procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Continuity management to drive disaster recovery strategy and ensure seamless business operations.
- Establish and maintain recovery plans and communication protocols to ensure timely and effective response to disruptions.
- Lead the testing and maintenance of disaster recovery solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Act as liaison for auditing of recovery processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Raise awareness of IT DR across the business to ensure a culture of resilience.
Requirements:
- Assertive personality with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in Financial Services environment with a focus on disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Technical proficiency in cloud platforms and IT systems, with a strong understanding of disaster recovery concepts.
- Proven experience in developing IT DR plans and implementing disaster recovery solutions.
