Home Care Assistant Coordinator

As a Home Care Assistant Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their own homes, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. Your duties will include covering 24-hour shifts, administering medication, recording health and medication information, and assisting with daily tasks such as walking and feeding a pet cocker spaniel. You will also assist with social and leisure activities, such as going to town for a coffee or going to the gym. The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Your Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily tasks such as making meals, getting dressed and washed, and moving from a wheelchair to a bed or sofa
• Administer medication and fill in hourly nursing notes and daily MAR sheets
• Assist with social and leisure activities, such as going to town for a coffee or going to the gym
Requirements: Experience in health and hygiene, manual handling, preferred. Basic training can be provided.
