About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Assistant to join our team at Williams Lea Limited. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide enhanced, proactive support to fee earners, enabling them to operate efficiently and deliver seamless legal services to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage complex diaries and schedules
  • Answer telephone calls in a timely fashion, taking clear and detailed messages
  • Organise internal and external meetings, ensuring seamless coordination
  • Liaise with clients via email or telephone, maintaining high standards of client care
  • Assist fee earners with billing and credit control processes, generating accurate reports and letters
  • Manage client and matter inception processes, ensuring timely file opening and maintenance
  • Coordinate fee earner movements, making travel arrangements as needed
  • Manage the production of official papers, including bundles and relevant documents
  • Draft documents from precedents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Liaise with fee earners and support staff based in other offices, promoting effective communication

Personal Attributes

  • Previous PA experience is essential, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality support
  • Exceptional standard of written and verbal communication, with the ability to adapt to different styles and tone
  • Proficient multi-tasker, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands
  • Competent with the Microsoft Office suite, with experience of using client relationship management tools
  • Team player, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
