Underwriter Senior Underwriter Commercial Third Sector

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Underwriter/Senior Underwriter to join our Commercial and Third Sector team. As an Underwriter/Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting UK-based commercial risks, managing relationships with regional brokers and clients, and identifying opportunities to offer solutions to existing client/broker accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite new and existing business within delegated authority
- Manage and maintain relationships with regional brokers, colleagues, and clients across the UK
- Work with the third sector/charity team to underwrite business and develop successful relationships
- Identify opportunities to offer solutions to existing client/broker accounts
- Communicate effectively with senior members of staff to ensure clarity and positive relationships across the business
- Put clients and customers first by working within SLAs and ensuring a high level of service is provided at all times
Requirements:
- Insurance experience from an underwriting or broking background
- Experience using digital trading platforms
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Desire to further or start a career in agricultural insurance
