Job Summary:

P+S Personnel is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Administrator/Executive to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of marketing tasks, including customer relations, marketing materials, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and extend customer relations through a combination of mailings, personal emails, phone calls, face-to-face meetings, and occasional trade fair attendance.
  • Monitor and update trade directories, contacts lists, and databases.
  • Perform routine tasks such as researching missing customer job titles, running weekly database reports, updating spreadsheets, and filing.
  • Post fortnightly news items and liaise with the web editor and designer on updates.
  • Research new target markets and develop marketing strategies.
  • Design and produce marketing materials, such as business cards, brochures, and flyers.
  • Occasionally manage events, such as the annual Memorial Race Day.
  • Update lists of trade press, ezines, and directories.
  • Provide administrative support, including paperwork for incoming and outgoing equipment and customer quotations.

Requirements:

  • Good design skills, particularly in Canva and Mailchimp.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to vary the pace of work according to deadlines and priorities.
  • Organized, with the ability to update ring binders, contact lists, and databases.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle tasks.
  • Proactive, with the ability to keep a pending list and gently chase follow-ups.
  • Confident and friendly phone manner.
  • Experienced in dealing with customers face-to-face and on the phone.
  • Flexible attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team and help other team members when required.
  • Good command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
  • Competent in the use of MS Word, MS Outlook, and file transfer applications.
  • Experience in the use of Mailchimp, Access, InDesign, and WordPress is advantageous.

Working Hours:

16 hours a week, weekdays.
