About the Role

We are seeking a skilled eLearning Content Developer to join our Training & Development Department at Showsec's head office in Leicester City Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to design and develop educational courses using corresponding authoring tools for full-time, part-time, and onboarding candidates.

The eLearning Content Developer will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of eLearning courses and eBriefings, including scripting and storyboarding for course materials, activities, and assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop eLearning courses and eBriefings using Articulate 360 and other relevant software.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure all online materials and resources meet the organisation's training goals and objectives.
  • Test, quality check, and deploy eLearning content to ensure it is fit for purpose.
  • Develop and deploy eLearning feedback mechanisms, including analysis and reporting of outcomes.
  • Create, administer, analyse, and report on end-user progress and results.

Requirements

  • An understanding of Articulate 360 software (Rise and Storyline skills).
  • A background in media, graphic design, marketing, or eLearning.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel and web-based programs.
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise efficiently with great time management skills.
