Senior Care Role

We are seeking a senior care professional to take on the role of Head of Care within our Eastcote Park care home. The ideal candidate will have a clinically qualified background and strong leadership skills. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. Your duties will include managing the care team, ensuring effective staff scheduling, and facilitating ongoing training and development opportunities. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating the resident assessment process, ensuring the involvement of the resident in identifying needs and preferences. Additionally, you will oversee the Safe Medication Management programme, ensuring robust auditing procedures and identifying any training needs. A minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or a similar industry is required. You will possess a NVQ 4 in Care and Registered Managers Award or QCF Level 4 Diploma in Management. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure. As a team player, you will be decisive, self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and adaptable. You will be aware of COSHH and CQC regulations and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
