We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Sandford Ward, Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients requiring assessment, care, and nursing interventions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

As a key member of our nursing team, you will contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care and treatment in the ward environment. Your duties will include participating in the development, monitoring, and evaluation of individual care plans, working collaboratively with clients to meet their care needs, and assisting/supporting them to carry out activities of daily living while promoting independence.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a clinical/rehabilitation setting, a good command of the English language, and enthusiasm to work with people and promote a therapeutic environment. You will be able to recognize stress/anxieties in colleagues, patients, and their families and offer appropriate support.

Benefits of this role include a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as 27 days annual leave, rising to 33 days with continuous service, and access to a lease car scheme and cycle to work scheme.
